SOUTH BOSTON, VA. — South Boston Speedway will honor all ladies Saturday night, July 23 with the running of the Charles Anderson Lawn Care presents Ladies' Night race program.

All ladies will be admitted for $5 all evening for the event. The first race of the night will get underway at 7 p.m.

Highlighting Saturday's NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series action will be a race for the drivers in the Barkhouser Late Model Stock Car Division.

Seven-time winner Peyton Sellers leads the way in the Late Model standings by 24 points over four-time victor Drew Herring, who rolled into the Winner's Circle last weekend at America's Hometown Track.

Jonathan Cash is third in the chase for the Late Model championship, while Owen Miller and Ryan Rhodes are deadlocked in a fourth-place tie, just eight points ahead of sixth-place Brandon Butler.

Also scheduled as part of the four-race program Saturday night will be action for the Limited Sportsman Division, the Virginia Army National Guard Pure Stock Division and the Grand Sportsman Division.

Jonathan Bailey, who has recorded back-to-back wins, leads the hotly contested point chase in the Limited Sportsman Division. The cushion for Bailey, however, is a mere two points over Justin Snow. Both Bailey and Snow have tallied seven wins each this season.

Joey Throckmorton moved atop the Pure Stock Division standings last weekend at the four-tenths mile asphalt oval. Throckmorton owns a four-point edge over second-place Chuck Watkins.

In the Grand Sportsman Division, Brad Matthews leads the title chase by 22 points over Junior Hancock.

Pit gates will open July 23 at 1 p.m. and practice for all divisions will be held from 2:15 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. and qualifying time trials will get the green flag at 5 p.m. as well.

Adult admission for the race will be $8 up to 6:30 p.m. and $10 after that. Youth, ages 10-15, will be admitted for $5 and children under the age of 10 will be admitted free with a paid adult.
